Chip, this is a beautiful tribute to your mom. She must have been an extraordinary woman. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Stay close to your dad and siblings as she wanted. That is what got my family through after the loss of my dear mother in 2002. God bless you and your family.

Oh Shela, thanks for writing a note! She was pretty special and we were so fortunate as she fought fiercely for her family. Mom and Dad kept us close over the years and while they were not entirely close to their siblings they seemed to instill in us the importance of family to each of us. Our family is the only treasure we get to take with us. I hope you are doing well!

I remember Linda as a kind, fun Mom of my childhood best friend, Adrienne. One memory that comes to mind was riding in the back of the family's station wagon listening to the Grease Soundtrack and singing along when we were about 7 years old. My heart goes out to this beautiful, loving family. She will be watching over you all until you meet again.
