Cremation is rapidly becoming a preferred means of disposition. More and more people are choosing cremation without ceremony for a variety of reasons. Cremation Basics is an independently owned and operated cremation service that primarily serves Eastern and Coastal Maine.

Cremation Costs

Cremation Basics only offers one service, a Simple Cremation. We do not maintain a facility to hold services. We make much of our arrangements by phone, through our website, or in person.

Memorial Urns

For those planning to keep or bury the cremated remains, we have a variety of urns ranging in price from $95 to $1000. Some are designed for durability while others may be more artistic.
