Obituary of Barry Blake Raye
Guilford – Barry B. Raye, 68, passed away at home on November 14, 2022, with his Wife and Son by his side. He was born on April 7, 1954, in Hempstead New York the son of Max & Mimi Raye.
He worked for the Maine Central Railroad (now Pan Am Railway) for 42 years, retiring 8 years ago. Barry enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and riding his side by side into Guilford Mountain. He had a lot of friends and touched a lot of lives. He will be missed by many.
Barry is survived by his Father Max & Stepmother Cindy, his loving wife Gail Raye of 48 years, his Son Chris Raye of Guilford, and his two Grandsons who Lovingly knew him as BB. Briker Raye & Girlfriend Krysten of Dixmont and Sage Raye of Sangerville and a Great Grandson Ryker Raye whom he was Thankful he got to meet. We are thankful we were able to get a five-generation picture before his passing. He is also survived by his sister Rhonda & Husband Dennis Doten and their Son Josh Doten his special Nephew his Niece Rachael & Nephew Rusty. He is predeceased by his Mother Mimi Scott, Brother and his Wife Scott & Tammy Raye and special nephew Matthew Doten.
Arrangements were through Cremation Basics. In the Spring a few of his special friends and family are planning a cookout and get together at his very close friend, George’s camp into Guilford Mountain. This is what Barry ‘s wishes were.
